Niagara Falls is just a half hour away from the heart of the city, with the Canadian border just as close. Both sides of the boarder offer some beautiful views of the natural wonder, and plenty of photo opportunities. To top it off, there are a number of tourist-friendly areas around the waterfall, including hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and casinos.
Sports in Buffalo are bar-none. If you love football, hockey, or baseball, Buffalo is the city to visit. Football fans around the city wake up early every Sunday to begin partying, and tailgating at Ralph Wilson Stadium begins earlier than at any other stadium in the United States. HSBC, home of the Buffalo Sabres, is an awesome venue for both sports and other attractions.
In the summer time, Buffalo offers the second largest outdoor performances of Shakespeare in the United States, beaten only by New York City. Featured on a beautiful grassy hill just behind the Albright Knox, Shakespeare in the Park is one of Buffalo resident’s favorite summer attractions, bringing thousands and thousands of people in throughout the Summer.
